Seminars & Training
Chromatographic Specialties Inc. recognizes that our customers are continuously trying to educate themselves on new developments and techniques in the field of analytical chemistry. To address these needs we offer the following opportunities.
Restek on-demand technical slideshows
Restek have a variety of on-demand slideshows giving step-by-step visual tours of Restek's innovative products, with audio narration provided by the same experts who helped develop them.

Hamilton Microlab 600 Diluter & Dispenser
The Microlab 600 is a highly precise syringe pump designed to quickly and easily dispense and dilute liquids
How does a Diluter work?
The MICROLAB 600's Dual Syringe Diluter configuration uses two syringes to create up to a 1:50,000 dilution in a single step, drastically reducing preparation time and wasted buffer. The diluent washes the tubing between each sample, minimizing carryover.
The Dispenser
There are 3 dispensers available. Each dispenser is based on a positive displacement system that provides better than 99% accuracy, independent of a liquid’s viscosity, vapor pressure, and temperature
Single Syringe Dispenser
The Single Syringe Dispenser is ideal for dedicated dispensing applications requiring a single syringe drive. Improve accuracy, throughput, and consistency when compared to traditional laboratory equipment like serological and repeating pipettes....click here for an animated demonstration
Dual Syringe Dispenser
The Dual Syringe Dispenser has two syringe drives for applications such as Animal Dosing that require the use of more than one liquid at the same time. In this application the "No Drug Control" is primed into one syringe while the "Test Drug" is primed into the other syringe. The two liquids can be dosed from the same instrument saving setup and dosing time....click here for an animated demonstration
Continuous Dispenser
The Continuous Dispenser is designed for time critical applications requiring repetitive dispensing. One syringe fills while the other syringe dispenses so the instrument is always ready. Perfect for integration into semi-automated or fully automated manufacturing lines....click here for an animated demonstration.

Fast flow Sediment Disk Holder and Pre-Filters from Horizon Technology for Process Particulate Laden Samples
This novel accessory enables the efficient processing of sediment laden water samples by providing a large pre-filtering are above a 47mm SPE disk.
Now a low cost (47mm) analytical disk can be used for applications that typically require larger and more costly SPE disks.
Process all samples, even the ‘dirty’ ones. using the same technique.

Technical Visits with our Suppliers
We regularly invite technical personnel from our suppliers to accompany our Sales Representatives on customer visits. Typically these sessions include up to half a day of technical presentations on topics ranging from column selection, troubleshooting, and instrument care and maintenance techniques, then transition to specific discussions about improving your separations. Your CSI Sales Representative would be pleased to discuss these opportunities with you.
