AOAC Seminar - Acetonitrile Rationing - Overcoming the Shortage in your Lab.
A world-wide shortage of Acetonitrile emerged during the fall of 2008, caused by a global downturn in acrylic fiber production. Solvent suppliers continue to warn that Acetonitrile supplies will be very restricted until summer 2009. Acetonitrile supply is expected to improve somewhat in the 3rd and 4th quarters, but some restrictions will remain, and prices are expected to remain high.
CSI would like to offer our customers cost saving alternatives to help them through this shortage, click here to read more.
