NuGEN is dedicated to the development and commercialization of high sensitivity nucleic acid amplification and detection technologies.

NuGEN offers products for the linear amplification and labeling of RNA and cDNA that can be used for Microarrays and qPCR analysis. These are compatible with the Agilent as well as the Affymetrix Gene Chip Microarrays. The WT-Ovation™ RNA Amplification System powered by Ribo-SPIA™ technology is the first in the Ovation™ family of products to enable whole transcriptome gene expression analysis using qPCR.

NuGEN's Ribo-SPIA™ RNA amplification technology that powers the entire Ovation™ System product line, overcomes the limitations of alternative amplification methods to meet the demand for rapid, high fidelity RNA amplification for gene expression analysis regardless of starting RNA sample amount. Requiring only a few nanograms of starting total RNA, the Ribo-SPIA™ Technology generates micrograms of amplified cDNA antisense product (opposite sense) compatible with the standard probe set designs used with microarrays or Q-PCR analysis.
