^MJSBioLynx Inc., a leading Canadian supplier of quality products for life science research is searching for a Technical Sales Representative for our Toronto territory.

The ideal candidate will be a recent University graduate with a degree (BSc.,Msc., PhD. ) in science, preferably in the disciplines of biochemistry, biology or molecular biology. Hands-on experience with a variety of biotechniques (Protein Chemistry, ELISA, Immunoblotting, PCR, etc.) and well developed communication skills are essential; personal computing would be an asset.

The Employee's duties and responsibilities will include:

• Daily customer contact with established and prospective accounts for Toronto and Southwestern / Western Ontario to educate and inform customers of ^MJSBioLynx products (consumables and instrumentation).
• Provide product support to products sold or prospective sales in the territory.
• Prompt follow-up on inquiries, sales leads and quotations for territory.
• Act as liaison between customer and Brockville office as required.
• Expansion of the ^MJS BioLynx customer sales base in the territory.
• Maintenance of ^MJS BioLynx customer mail list for the territory.
• Assistance in the creation of ^MJS BioLynx Inc.’s marketing literature as required to promote the ^MJS BioLynx small instruments consumables and reagents.
• Attendance at Supplier Product Training and Sales meetings as required.
• Preparation for and participation in Trade Shows and mini-shows as required.

Skills:

• The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual as this position requires the maturity and willingness to work independently
• Knowledge of the Life Sciences (i.e. Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology...). Chromatography knowledge would be an asset.
• Time Management and Organizational Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Willingness to travel as required

Sales and product specific training, a generous benefits package and a car allowance are provided. Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
